Charmme gets sexier!

She is all set to rock the Maha Maha sequel
Charmme gets sexier!
Charmme, who has starred in Kannada movies like Yaare Koogadali, Lava Kusha and Dev S/o Mudde Gowda, sounds pretty upbeat after having recently completed shooting for what seems like a sequel to the 2007 Telugu chartbuster Maha Maha. “It’s not exactly a sequel to the song, but it’s going to be 10 times bolder than the original,” she says, alluding to what was a toned-downed rip-off of the 2006 Black Eyed Peas chartbuster, My Humps.
Charmme scorched the screen in that number with her South Indian-style Hips Don’t Lie-inspired dance moves, creating quite a flutter, even as she raised the bar for bold dancing in T-Town.
Eight years on, Charmme is positive about raising the bar higher with her hot number in Mantra 2. “After seeing this number, people will definitely forget Maha maha,” she says, beaming. Admittedly, the song is “sexy, glamourous, sensual, peppy and fun” all at once. Sunil Kashyap has composed the music for the film and dance-master Prem Rakshit, who had choreographed Maha Maha, has worked on this song too.
“We shot for five days on five different sets. The number will have everyone — right from school kids to the elderly, shaking a leg to the signature tune,” adds the actress, who claims the horror element of the film is inspired from real life.
“The director has borrowed a few real life incidents and woven it into a script. When we started shooting, we were clear about not having a single song. We wanted to give the film a Hollywood thriller feel, but the filmmakers decided to have this song on popular demand,” adds Charmme, who is set to wrap up her next with Puri Jagannadh soon.
