Over 600 from Gujarat stranded in Nepal

AHMEDABAD: Over 600 people from Gujarat visiting Nepal were stranded. As many as 70 pilgrims from Ahmedabad and Kutch had a close shave when their hotel crumbled when they were just a few metres away. Eighty pilgrims from Maninagar were reported to be stuck in Manakamna. Chief secretary D J Pandian said, “We are ready to send a special aircraft to ferry Gujaratis home but the airport is small.”
