Beato Antonio Varona invitational hoops Sunday

THE 1st Beato Antonio Varona Invitational Basketball League kicks Sunday at Letran gym in Intramuros starting with the opening ceremonies at 8 a.m.   In the 12-Under division, host Letran will be joined by Chiang Kai Shek, St. Stephen High School, Colegio de San Agustin A and B and Philadelphia High School.  New teams  Ateneo, Adamson, University of Santo Tomas and San Sebastian College will join Letran, CKS and Philadelphia HS in the 15-U class.  Elmer Latonio, a former Letran coach, is league commissioner.
