“Taal Euphoria”, a cultural event, was celebrated with pomp at Future Kid’s School here on Friday. International Chess Champion Lanka Ravi was the special guest of the day.

Harishini Devi, head of the department of English, and school coordinator Padmavathi, directed the programme. ‘Takshak’, a melange of seven Indian traditional dances, was noted for its ethnic brilliance. The symphonic dance, ‘Neelakasam’, cast a spell on the audience.

Children paid tributes to Bharatha Muni through ‘Yogeeswaraya…’ a Doric parody. The dance drama, ‘Dasavatarams’, Lord Vishnu was depicted in all the 10 Avatars. Another presentation, ‘Jai Hind’, saluting Mother India, marked a befitting finale to the event.

The Taal Euphoria involved around thousand children from the school.
