Plan for new medical college

“We have MMRDA grounds nearly two km away from the hospital where infrastructure is available for the medical college. According to the Medical Council of India’s guidelines, a hospital must have at least 300 beds to run a medical college in its first year. The one at Govandi has close to 1,000 beds. According to Directorate of Medical Education and Research officials, an inspection will be carried out once the government gives a green signal.
