The publication was officially handed over by the Association's Government Employees Focus Group Leader, Shekhar Mahabeer to Sanoosha Badhul of the Provincial Employee Wellness Practitioners Unit (Office of the Premier) at the KZNFLA AGM in Durban.

The sixth edition covers topics ranging from pension savings to financing a home; from money and emotions to medical aid; from banking jargon to debt management. The Annual Speech Contest on Finance, which is open to all learners currently completing Grade 11, is also discussed in the paper.

Independent journalists, writers, photographers and financial experts have provided high quality, educational and accessible material.

The Association raises financial literacy among public servants, making financial management more accessible, less threatening and easier to understand. The purpose is to improve the ability of government employees to manage their own finances, which will ultimately also have a positive impact on the management of public budgets and assets.
