A Bridgeport man faces several drug charges after police say they found almost 3 pounds of cocaine hidden in a box of mangoes.Police tell the Connecticut Post they received a tip that 61-year-old Enrique Pineiro had just received a large shipment of drugs.Police say when they went to his home Thursday, his girlfriend told them the only package he had gotten was a box of mangoes from Puerto Rico.Police opened the box and found 2.8 pounds of prepackaged cocaine.Pineiro is charged with possession of more than a kilogram of cocaine with intent to sell. He was freed after posting a $50,000 bond.Attempts to reach him for comment Friday morning were not successful. A listed phone number was no longer in service.
