Shilpa Shukla: Delhi needs more warm people
We spotted actress Shilpa Shukla in the audience during a play in Delhi recently. The 'B.A. Pass' actress told us that she is returning to the stage after 12 years with a play, which is a solo act and is an adaptation of Dario Fo's A Woman Alone. It will be staged in Gurgaon next month.
Shilpa, an alumna of Miranda House, told us while reminiscing about her Delhi days, “I used to stay at Shah Jahan Road and all the balloons from the Republic Day celebration would fly over our house."

She added, “I love these two extremes of Delhi one, which is very traditional, and the other, which is ultra modern." But she also feels people in Delhi are unreasonably belligerent.
