Today-Sunday: Colorado’s appetite for big-budget horse shows is strong, but not limitless, so it should be interesting to see how audiences respond to “The Gala of the Royal Horses” when it high-steps into Colorado this weekend. More modest than last year’s “Odysseo” but more theatrical than a rodeo or stock show, “Gala” is the inaugural North American touring version of an Australian show featuring live music, flamenco dancers and equine choreography from Andalusian, Friesian, Lipizzaner and Arabian breeds. Shows take place 7:30 p.m. April 24 at the Denver Coliseum, 7:30 p.m. April 25 at the Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs, and 4 p.m. April 26 at Loveland’s Budweiser Events Center. $23-$78. galaoftheroyalhorses.com.
