A peek into Ranbir Kapoor’s life
Ranbir Kapoor recently elaborated his stance to a close friend, stating that reading Albert Camus' bestseller 'The Outsider' gave him a unique perspective on himself, reports Mumbai Mirror. The novel's protagonist Meursault is an aloof, apathetic character, so much so that he does not cry at his own mother's funeral and commits a murder soon after. Overheard a conversation of Ranbir with his friend, Mirror quoted the actor saying, "I don't give a damn anymore. I identify with 'The Outsider'. I think I am him. I could not put the book down and read it in six days straight. I also don't cry anymore. I cannot remember the last time I cried. I am hoping I get to play this character on the big screen since I identify with him." Click further to see a special selfie that Ranbir clicked with his niece Samara and sister Riddhima...
