JAMMU, Apr 23: Minister for Education Naeem Akhtar today released Wazir Mohammad Mir’s book “Jannat Ke Khazaney” at a function held at K.L. Sehgal Hall here.
Deputy Chairman Legislative Council, Jahangir Hussain Mir, ADGP, S P Vaid, Director School Education Jammu, Simrandeep Singh and eminent writers, poets and academicians were also present on the occasion.
The book is informative and educative, and is especially useful for those who wish to perform Hajj and Umrah and even for those who intend to study Islamic history and want to extend their knowledge about sacred places in Saudi Arabia.
The author – a retired Police officer- has also made valuable contribution towards Police Organization during his service and through his writings especially on effective policing and other aspects. His works include English as well as in Urdu writings.
