SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Kaz USA Inc.’s new Febreze Tabletop Air Purifier, designed to help combat allergens, is being sold in the allergy aisle at select CVS/pharmacy stores nationwide.

Febreze Tabletop Air PurifierKaz said Wednesday that Febreze Air Purifiers employ powerful, dual-action HEPA-Type filtration to help clean air of dust, pet dander, pollen and other indoor air pollutants often stirred up with kids and pets running around the house or by other activities such as vacuuming or fluffing pillows. According to the company, the air purifiers remove up to 99% of airborne particles while trapping household odors and adding a fresh Febreze scent to the filtered air.

The tabletop model comes with a Febreze Linen & Sky scent cartridge that lasts up to 30 days and a HEPA-Type filter that lasts up to four months. Replacement Febreze HEPA-Type filters are available, as are replacement scent cartridges, which also come in the Febreze Spring & Renewal scent.

“Although outdoor allergens are often a focus this time of year, it’s equally important to reduce airborne allergens inside the home where many of these particles go unnoticed,” stated Dr. Ted Myatt, senior scientist with Environmental Health & Engineering and the University of Rhode Island. “With more than 2,400 CVS/pharmacy stores now stocking Febreze Air Purifiers, more people will be able to enjoy the season by getting cleaner, fresher indoor air.”

Along with the Febreze Tabletop Air Purifiers (FHT170W), replacement Febreze scent cartridges and replacement Febreze HEPA-Type filters are available at select CVS/pharmacy stores across the country.
