Mike Alstott to announce Bucs' second-round pick

TAMPA, Fla. -- Mike Alstott, one of the most popular players in Tampa Bay history, will announce the team’s second-round draft pick in Chicago.

The NFL announced Thursday that Alstott will be among 32 former players to announce picks.

Alstott played fullback for the Bucs from 1996 through 2006, compiling 5,088 rushing yards and 71 touchdowns. Alstott still lives in the Tampa Bay area and remains very active in the community.
