Every year TAS Headmaster Murray Guest and senior staff from the school hit the road to meet with current and prospective families.
This year, Mr Guest has a new message to share, with the announcement last month that TAS will opening the doors to enrolment of girls as boarders and day students, from 2016.
“This exciting and historic development is all about maintaining what is best about TAS and simply making that available to secondary girl students, as well as boys,” he said.
“As we plan and implement our transition to full co-education, there is a strong sense of anticipation about a bright new future for TAS.”
TAS is renowned for its high academic results, an extensive co-curricular program, strong focus on well being and leadership, service and adventure programs that build responsibility, resilience and resourcefulness. Its membership of NSW GPS and the Round Square organisation allows TAS to foster relationships of friendship with other member schools through service, exchange and sporting opportunities.
Mr Guest will be in Inverell on Friday, May 1. For more details about the Inverell visit, phone TAS registrar Pip Warrick on 0428 414 995 or email info@as.edu.au.
