Be corrective forces, writers told

April 23, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:44 am IST - KASARAGOD:

Writers should strive to emerge as major corrective forces in contemporary society, writer M. Mukundan has said. An orator, in contrast to a writer, had very slim chance to go for corrections in his statements or observations. A piece of writing could well reflect and tend to address the ills that grappled society, Mr. Mukundan said while addressing a function in memory of writer Balakrishnan Mangad and inaugurating a literary meet of the Samastha Kerala Sahitya Parishad at the municipal conference hall here on Wednesday. – Staff Reporter
