Tribal farmer electrocuted

A tribal farmer was electrocuted when live wires fell on him at Bodya tanda in Konijerla mandal on Wednesday evening.

The police identified the deceased as B. Saidulu, 35, of Annavaram village in the same mandal. According to police sources, Saidulu suffered a shock when a tractor fitted with farm equipment accidentally rammed into an electric pole abutting his agriculture farm in the evening. Saidulu succumbed on the spot. He was reportedly operating the tractor mounted machine when the incident occurred, sources added.
