MCOCA accused threaten judge

NAGPUR: Tension spread inside the courtroom when a MCOCA accused reportedly threatened a judge on Wednesday afternoon. However, Sadar police claimed that no such incident had taken place and no case was registered.
Sources from the district court informed that Afroz gang members, slapped with MCOCA charges recently, and booked for many gang rape cases, were produced in the court on Wednesday.The police did not allow relatives of Afroz to meet him.
Sources said a member of Afroz gang was suffering from a serious illness and though the judge rejected the medical plea of the accused, Afroz irked at that, allegedly threatened the judge, creating a tensed situation inside the court. It has been learnt that the policemen at the entry gate were called in immediately to maintain peace and order.
