NEW YORK, April 22 (UPI) -- Iceman a.k.a. Bobby Drake will come out as gay in the 40th issue of All New X-Men hitting stands Wednesday.
He is outed by fellow X-Man Jean Grey who confronts him after making lewd comments about a teacher.

Iceman's sexuality has been debated for years after several failed relationships with women.
"Maybe he couldn't handle being a mutant and gay in a society that had issues with both?" Bobby Drake wonders in the comic, referring to adult Iceman living as straight.
The comic was leaked ahead of time to 4Chan and spread across the Internet.
Series author Brian Michael Bendis was slightly annoyed by the leak. He hopes fans will read the entire issue rather than the select images online.
