Software engineer marries orphan

In a rare gesture of compassion, a software employee came forward to marry an inmate of orphanage here on Wednesday. K. Gopinath working in Hyderabad married Preethi from Sevasadanam, Warangal in the presence of Regional Joint Director of Women and Child Welfare Y. Shialaja and other officials at historic Padmakshi temple in Hanamkonda.

Good samaritans Potlapally Soumya and Srinivasa Rao acted as parents of bride and performed the rituals. Youth Services Department officials Purushottam and others appreciated the gesture of Mr. K. Gopinath and congratulated the couple.

The officials presented a green gift – Cycus plant on the occasion of Earth Day. S. Thirpathi Rao, AJC, Warangal, Deputy Director I & PR Sri Balagangadhar Thilak, Anitha Reddy, an NGO member attended & blessed the couple.
