Motorola Moto X 1st gen to get Android 5.1 update

Moto X first generation is all set to get the new android 5.1 update. The device is still running Android KitKat. It is reported that the update will be rolled out in Brazil as of now, but will be soon made available to other parts of the globe.

In Portuguese language, the translated post posted by Motorola read something like this: Material Design, Improved lock-screen and home-screen notifications with support for priority notifications; New Overview mode for multitasking with card view; New Moto Assist features, including Moto smart screen, Moto Voice, and Moto Shares; Moto Screen feature that shows notifications on lock screen without waking entire display and uses the low-power processor; Smart Lock (Trusted Devices) that keeps the phone unlocked when paired with a smartwatch or in a particular area.
