Works on the pavilion of the stadium, to be built by the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) on its 8.26-acre land, around 5 km from here, would be inaugurated by Karnataka Health Minister U.T. Khader at the function. The stadium would be ready for hosting matches in two years, a KCA statement here said. Facilities such as club house, gymnasium, swimming pool, football ground, and volleyball and tennis courts would come up near the stadium.
