KS Ravikumar to play Dhanush's dad?

We had recently reported that Radikaa Sarath Kumar is playing the role of Dhanush's mother in an upcoming film by the Velaiilla Pattadhari team of director Velraj, Dhanush and Anirudh. While director Samuthirakani had played Dhanush's dad in VIP, now, the team has roped in another well-known director, KS Ravikumar, to play a crucial role in this film. While the film's director Velraj chose not to reveal the nature of the character, it is said that the Lingaa director will be playing the role of Dhanush's father in this as-yet-untitled film, which stars Samantha and Amy Jackson as the female leads.The team, which had shot scenes involving Amy and Dhanush (who is seen in a schoolboy look), is on a break from shoot right now, and is expected to start work again by early June and we hear Dhanush might have a different look during this schedule.
