Second Mandir of ISKCON opens in Ahmedabad (Photos)

The city of Ahmedabad today got second ISKCON Mandir. The new Mandir is near Science City in Bhadaj area. Chief Minister Anandiben Patel, Saint Madhupandit Dasji, BJP leader Amit Thakar, City Mayor Minakshiben, AUDA Chairman Bhupendra Patel among others were present on the occasion of opening of this Mandir which has also Akshay Patra kitchen facility to cater nutritious lunch to government schools under mid-day meal programme. Rs. 35 crore Bhadaj Mandir is standing over 10 acre land. 6.5 acre land has been dedicated to educational and cultural activities. Akshay Patra kitch provides meal to 4.80 lakh children across various primary schools.
