A new UltraHD monitor has been introduced by ViewSonic. The VG2860mhl-4k joins the VP2780-4k and VX2475Smhl-4k (ViewSonic Sets New UltraHD IPS Price), both of which are available now.
The 28″ LCD monitor is a business unit, supporting multi-tasking with four-way split screen. There are five preset modes (Game, Mono, Text, Web and Movie), which adjust display settings to optimise the viewing experience.
Supporting extended use, the monitor can tilt (-5° – 37°), swivel, pivot (90°) and is height adjustable. It also has a flicker-free backlight and blue light filter.
In addition to the UltraHD resolution, the VG2860mhl-4k has 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m² of brightness and 170°/160° viewing angles. It is able to show 10-bit colour. Inputs are DisplayPort, mini-DisplayPort, MHL-HDMI, DVI and USB 2.0 (x2) and USB 3.0 (x2).
ViewSonic is selling the monitor now, for $720.
