CIPET, Chennai announces exam dates for Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2015

The Central Institute of Plastic Engineering Technology, Chennai has notified the date for its Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2015. The exam is scheduled to be held on July 12. The CIPET JEE is held for admissions to these courses- Master of Engineering or Technology in Plastics Engineering or Technology (M.E., M.Tech- PE/PT), Master of Technology in Polymer Nano Technology (M.Tech-PNT), M.Sc Polymer Science, Material Science & Engineering, of Engineering in CAD or CAM, Bio-polymer Science, Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Plastics Engineering or Technology and Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Manufacturing Engineering or Technology.

Eligibility criteria: The candidates should have a degree from a recognised university or institute. The candidates with degrees in the following disciplines are eligible- B.E., B.Tech, B.Sc in Mechanical, Chemical, Plastics Engineering, Production or Polymer department.

Selection procedure: The candidates will be selected on the basis of their past academic record and performance in the CIPET JEE.

Application procedure: The candidates can apply online on the official website www.cipet.gov.in. The form is also available at all CIPET centres.

Application fee: There is an application fee of Rs 250 for the General and OBC category students and Rs 50 for the SC and ST category students. The fee can be paid in cash at CIPET centres or through a Demand Draft drawn in the name of 'CIPET', payable at Chennai.

Important dates:

• The last date for submitting online application is June 5
• The last date of receipt of application by the institution is June 12
• The CIPET JEE is scheduled to be held on July 12
