New ANU in charge V-C takes over

Rector of Acharya Nagarjuna University, K.R.S Sambasiva Rao assumed charge as In charge Vice- Chancellor of Acharya Nagarjuna University here on Monday.

Dr. Rao took the charge from the outgoing V-C K. Viyanna Rao at the V-C office. Dr.K.V Rao had completed three years in office and left a mark on the research and academic fields. Registrar P. Raja Sekhar, Principals of various colleges congratulated Dr. Rao. A professor of Biotechnology, Professor Rao was earlier Chairman, Board of Studies in the departments of Biotechnology, Zoology and Aquaculture and Environmental Sciences at the university. After completing Ph.D from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, Dr. Rao started his professional career as a Post Doctoral Research Associate in 1985 and became Assistant Professor in the year 1988.
