Subodh on his debut directorial venture

Subodh Bhave's debut directorial venture 'Sangeet Katyar Kaljat Ghusli' is into its post production which is a film adaptation of a play with the same name.
And having delivered power-packed performances in films like Lokmanya Ek Yugpurush and Balgandharva, quite naturally then expectations are huge from his upcoming movie as a director.
On quizzing why he chose to don the director's cap with this musical film, he replied, "I have directed this classic drama penned by Purushottam Darvekar and Hindustani classical vocalist Vasantrao Deshpande.So, while I was doing that I realised that the subject is so vast and deep that it can be made for the 70mm. And I decided upon directing it myself. I'm paying extra attention to the songs of the film as it's a classical music movie."
From doing films to theatre to daily soap, all at the same time, Subodh is on a multi-tasking spree. One wonders from where did he get the energy and how is he able to balance it all with aplomb. Said the actor, "I don't know! I feel when you have good co-stars or professional collegues, everything becomes easy for you. Thankfully, the people I work with are extremely cooperative and help me out in managing my schedule well."
Subodh is currently seen in a TV serial 'Ka Re Durava' which has Suyash Tilak and Suruchi Adarkar in lead roles.
