EXO to perform first Dome Concerts

테스트

The boy band EXO will hold their first series of solo Dome Concerts in Japan since their debut. This is the shortest period for any foreign act from debut to dome tour.

Holding what are known as Dome Concerts is meaningful to artists and is typically indicative of a huge fan base, necessary to fill up Japan’s large-scale concert halls, which can accommodate up to 50,000 people.

EXO’s concert tour will kick off in the Tokyo Dome from Nov. 6 to 8. The band will then move on to the Kyocera Dome in Osaka from Nov. 13 to 15.

About 300,000 spectators are expected over six performances.

EXO made its simultaneous debut in Korea and China in April 2012, though the group has never made an official debut in Japan.

The group released its second album, “EXODOUS,” last month and is actively performing, promoting the album’s lead track, “Call Me Baby,” which has topped music charts and so far received 11 awards.
