MP CM to pay obeisance at Lord Parshuram's temple

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will tomorrow pay obeisance at Janapav, the birth place of Lord Parashuram, about 40 kms from here.

Indore: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will tomorrow pay obeisance at Janapav, the birth place of Lord Parashuram, about 40 kms from here.

Chouhan will offer prayers and perform other rituals at Janapav temple on the birth anniversary of Lord Parashuram (Akshaya Tritiya), temple seer Badrinandji Maharaj on Monday told reporters here.

He said that Chouhan has got the approach road to Janapav constructed and got works to the tune of crores of rupees executed for the development of this religious place.

On this occasion, members of the Bramhin community will felicitate the Chief Minister, he said, adding every year scores of devotees visit the temple on Akshaya Tritiya and also take a holy dip at 'Brahmakund' (water body).

Parashuram is considered to be the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu.
