TAIPEI -- Unitech Printed Circuit Board reported first-quarter revenues rose 27% year-over-year to NT$3.42 billion ($110.3 million).

 

Sales were down 13% sequentially, the fabricator added. 

Revenue was driven by demand in the automotive, notebook and tablet sectors. Rigid-flex, which currently makes up about 25% of all shipments, could rise to 30% in the second half.

The company is operating at a capacity utilization rate of 75% to 80%, according to reports, and expects utilization to reach 90% in the third quarter.
