A TOTAL of 817 firemen will be given keys to new homes in Pandi, Bulacan and Rodriguez, Rizal as part of the National Housing Authority’s project for uniformed personnel of government security forces.

Graced by Interior Secretary Mar Roxas as guest speaker, the NHA will formally turn over the keys on Tuesday to Bureau of Fire Protection members who will now settle in Pandi. A week after, more firemen will be transferring to their new homes in Rodriguez next Tuesday, April 28.

According to Director Ariel Barayuga, the Bureau of Fire Protection’s program dubbed the “Handog para sa mga Bumbero” will boost the morale of firemen as they would have a dwelling “to call their own home.”
