Bhopal Tamil Association (BTA) celebrated Tamil New Year-2015 in a festive atmosphere at a function organised at Career College, BHEL on Sunday.

BHOPAL: Bhopal Tamil Association (BTA) celebrated Tamil New Year-2015 in a festive atmosphere at a function organised at Career College, BHEL on Sunday.
K Suresh, principal secretary, GAD lighted the ceremonial oil lamp while exchanging new year greetings.
Addressing the gathering he said rich cultural heritage of Tamil in different field has enriched humanity and called upon members to carry on with the tradition of serving the needy.

M Raji, president, BTA said the event brought a cheerful occasion to start the new year with new dreams, it was an event organized by the BTA as get together on the occasion of the Tamil New Year and we hope that we could bring beautiful moments to cherish.
A Swami Durai , general secretary, BTA said association is a cultural, charitable, secular, non-political organization primarily interested in cultivating and fostering Tamil culture, language, literature and friendship. Cultural programs such a classical dance, lungi dance, keyboard play set the note of the event.Dance and other cultural programs were performed by the students and resident members.
Guests K Gunasekaran, director Airport Authority of India, Bhopal, Dr N Ganesh, sr. scientist, JNCHRC, Fr Johnney PJ, BSSS College were also present.
