Rajkot Municipal Corporation launches Bicycle Sharing Project

Rajkot Municipal Corporation(RMC) has started bicycle sharing service with 60 new ranger bicycles received as donation from private individuals. Bicycle control rooms are opened at four places in city. Each will have 15 bicycles. In first month of service, bicycles will be available fo free for first two hours, after which every hour would cost Rs. 5. One will need to submit original proof of personal identity to hire a bicycle. From May,19, the first two hour will also become chargeable. Four bicycle control cabins are situated at Central Bus Depot of GSRTC on Dhebar road, at Trikon Baug, Kisanpara Chowk on Race Course and at Indira Circle on University road.
