JAMMU, Apr 19: Continuing the spree of development in Jammu West, BJP MLA Sat Sharma (CA) kick started construction works of by-road in Shopping Centre, Bakshi Nagar area of Ward Number 27.
Sharma toured the area along with PWD officials and kick started the works in the area. Beside PWD officials, local residents, political activists and people belonging to all walks of life also accompanied the MLA during his visit.
The work of by-road at Shopping Centre area of Bakshi Nagar area of Ward Number 27 will be constructed under the supervision of PWD (Public Works Department) at an estimated cost of around Rupees Five Lakhs. The stretch of the road will be from Shopping Centre to office of Water works Department (PHE).
Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma (CA) said that all developmental works of the Constituency will be completed in a stipulated time frame so that all the basic requirements of the public could be met in a shorter span of time.
The BJP MLA also asked the officers present to reach people and mitigate their hardships on priority basis, without any delay. He said that he is well conversant with the problems of other areas of the Constituency as well and efforts are being made to fulfill each and everybody’s genuine demands.
The residents of the area also thanked the MLA for completing their long pending demand.
The MLA also toured the adjoining areas of the Ward where the construction works are already in progress and inspected the quality of the ongoing work along with the PWD officials.
Ex En Rajesh Bhagat, J E Harpreet, BJP Mandal President Ayodhya Gupta, Prem Kumar Gupta, Tripta Jamwal, Sourab Gupta, Hardev Singh, Puneet Gupta, SS Thaper, Suresh Sharma, Madan Lal Gupta, Gulati, Chander Mohan, Ashish, Manik, Ankush and others were also present on the occasion.
