Harrowing time for train passengers in Darbhanga

Passengers travelling to Sealdah by Gangasagar Express (13186 Up) and going to New Delhi by 12565 Up Bihar Sampark Kranti Express (BSKE) had a harrowing time due to engine (power) failure at Rajnagar railway station on Saturday and uncoupling of seven coaches of the BSKE at Laheriasarai railway station on Sunday morning.

DARBHANGA: Passengers travelling to Sealdah by Gangasagar Express (13186 Up) and going to New Delhi by 12565 Up Bihar Sampark Kranti Express (BSKE) had a harrowing time due to engine (power) failure at Rajnagar railway station on Saturday and uncoupling of seven coaches of the BSKE at Laheriasarai railway station on Sunday morning.
According to railways sources, the engine of Gangasagar Express running from Jaynagar in Madhubani to Sealdah in West Bengal failed at Rajnagar station Saturday night.
The train remained stranded there for two hours before another locomotive from Darbhanga was arranged. On Sunday, seven coaches of the BSKE got detached from the train while passing through Laheriasarai station Sunday morning. It was detected when the train travelled some distance from Laheriasarai station.
