Channing Tatum tweets for help after leaving bag in NYC cab

Hunky actor Channing Tatum is asking New Yorkers to help him find a bag he left in a yellow cab over the weekend.

He tweeted that he was dropped off by a hack in Times Square and forgot to take his black backpack with him about 7 p.m. Saturday.

Tatum created an e-mail address for tips.

“Seriously, left my black backpack in a cab near NYC’s 42nd Street,” he tweeted. “If you find it, email me at findmybag@channingtatumunwrapped.com.”

Drooling fans immediately tweeted back at him.

“I will make it my MISSION,” wrote @xSnicolex .

A Taxi and Limousine Commission spokesman said they were helping Tatum find it.

Tatum has starred in such flicks as “Magic Mike,” “The Vow” and “She’s the Man.”

Passengers who forget items in cabs are advised to file a lost-property inquiry with 311. The 17th Precinct and Central Park Precinct are designated police stations in Manhattan where items found in cabs can be brought.
