WC medal for cocaine
Paulo Cesar, a member of Brazil's famed 1970 football World Cup winning team, has admitted that he sold the gold medal he received for winning the World Cup to buy cocaine.
The former Brazilian star said on Saturday he regretted selling the "precious medal", reports Xinhua.
The 65-year-old Cesar, who had played for famous Brazilian clubs Botafogo, Flamengo, Fluminense, Gremio, Vasco da Gama and Corinthians, admitted his addiction began in France when playing for Marseille in the 1970s.
