Manjhi merely a kite: RJD chief

Patna: Reacting to the role of former Bihar CM and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) leader Jitan Ram Manjhi in the current political scenario, RJD president Lalu Prasad on Sunday said Manjhi was merely a ‘patang’ (kite) and his ‘latai’ was being handled by someone else. “I tried to convince Manjhi bhai. I asked him to choose the right path. But later, I realized that he is a ‘patang’ only,” Lalu said while addressing the Kumhar (Prajapati) Rajnitik Chetna rally at Gandhi maidan here.Lalu also said the members of all artisan communities like Kumhar, carpenters and blacksmiths would be given proper representation in government and legislative bodies once the Janata Parivar was voted to power in the state in the next assembly elections to be held later this year. He also announced to constitute a Mati Kala Board (board for uplift of clay arts) for the Kumhar community once Janata Parivar comes to power.
