Pakistan Test team captain says youngsters should be supported whether team plays good or not
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Test team captain Misbahul Haq has on Sunday said that the youngsters must be given support whether the team plays good or not. He said that consistency was vital at this time for the team, reported Dunya News.
While the cricket lovers have started to miss the senior players in the team after humiliating defeat against minnows like Bangladesh, Misbahul Haq said that the youngsters should be given support. He said that the boys should be given some time before giving a final verdict about them.
Pakistan has to play 3 ODIs, 2 Tests and 1 Twenty-20 on this tour. Misbahul Haq will be captaining Pakistan side in the Test while senior batsman Younis Khan will also be back for the Tests so Pakistan should not face any difficulty in the Test matches, according to Misbah.
Misbah said that some experts were criticizing Azhar Ali’s captaincy after watching just two matches which he deemed unfair to the young captain.
