Two women, including a Polish tourist, found dead in the north

The body of a Polish woman who went missing last week in Nazareth was found in a wooded area in the city, police said on Sunday.
There were signs of violence on her body, officers said.
The tourist, who was in her 20s and traveling with her father, was reported missing by her hotel on Thursday night. No trace of her was found until Sunday, when a passerby spotted her body and notified police.
An investigation into her death has been opened by the Northern District’s YA MAR central investigative unit, which handles serious crimes.
A few hours after the corpse was discovered, police announced that another woman’s body had been found in the northern district.
The body – which has yet to be identified – was found by a passerby on Mount Arbel, north of Tiberias. Police have yet to determine that woman’s identity or the cause of death, and will send the body to the Greenberg Institute of Forensic Medicine at Abu Kabir for tests.
A police official said the body was in an advanced state of decomposition and had apparently been there some time.
Late on Sunday afternoon, search and rescue volunteers from the Israel Police were working to evacuate the body from a rather inaccessible part of the mountain.
It is unclear if there is any connection between the two women.
