Police recover boxes of liquors from Amul Dairy Chairman Ramsinh Parmar’s farm house

Kheda district police Local Crime Branch(LCB) has recovered over 200 boxes of liquor worth over Rs. 5 lakh value from the farm house of Amul Dairy Chairman Ramsinh Parmar who is also Congress MLA representing Thasra assembly seat in central Gujarat.
According to primary details available at this time, Parmar’s ‘Shri Ram farm’ was raided by LCB team following tip off that it was used for liquor storage and distribution. The farm house is located on Thasra-Sevalia road. 213 boxes of beer and 7 boxes of foreign liquor are recovered. Some vehicles are seized. 3 are arrested while 2 are yet to be arrested. Total value of vehicles, mobile, liquor seized is over Rs. 15 lakh.
BJP taluka president held with liquor
In another incident, Pardi police in south Gujarat arrested one Dharmesh Patel, president of Valsad taluka BJP on national highway number 8 near Vishram hotel with 7 boxes of liquor. Patel was passing through national highway 8 in his Innova car. This incident happened when election was scheduled to held in ward number 9 in Valsad Municipality on Sunday. Patel is former Sarpanch of Bhagdavada village.
