Students donate blood

MBA and MCA Students enthusiastically donated blood at a blood donation camp organised at the QIS College of Engineering here on Saturday.

In all, the students donated 40 units of blood to ‘Belief Blood Bank’, run under the aegis of Betesda, a local non-governmental organisation, said Dr. K. Prasad, coordinator of the NSS wing.

Medical Officer Dr. C. Ravikumar oversaw the blood donation programme.

QIS Educational Institutions secretary and correspondent N.S. Kalyan Chakravarthy joined the faculty in patting the students for their spirit of service and urged them to inspire more and more youth to emulate them.
