Burton boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said his side will be going all out to win the title after securing promotion against Morecambe.
On a memorable day for the Brewers, two goals from Lucas Akins sealed the three points Burton needed to ensure their elevation as they won 2-1 and Wycombe were unable to beat AFC Wimbledon.
Hasselbaink said: "I am delighted for everyone at the club that we have secured promotion but that is only one goal.
"The job isn't finished yet and I want to end the season on a high.
"We have two games left and I want us to go all the way and win the league and complete the job.
"It has been a great season and the lads have handled it really well. We were always in control and we created a lot of chances and apart from a spell at the start of the second half and a few minutes right at the end we were on top."
Hasselbaink also paid tribute to his predecessor Gary Rowett, adding: "Gary started the job here and must take a lot of credit for what the club has achieved.
"We have come in and made a few changes but the base was there and I'm delighted that we have been able to build on his success."
The Brewers took a deserved lead 29 minutes in. Morecambe defender Andy Parrish was dispossessed on the edge of his own area allowing Akins a free run on goal and he slid the ball coolly under Andreas Arestidou.
The goal came just a couple of minutes after Burton had missed a penalty. Laurence Wilson was penalised for bring down Stuart Beavon but Damien McCrory saw his spot-kick well saved by Arestidou.
Akins doubled the lead on the hour when Burton were awarded their second penalty of the afternoon. Morecambe keeper Arestidou brought down Beavon after he failed to take control of a back pass and Akins made no mistake from 12 yards.
The home side pulled one back with a close-range header from Mark Hughes after an excellent Paul Mullin cross to make it a nervous finish for the Brewers.
Aaron Wildig then volleyed inches wide three minutes into injury time but Burton held on to spark the celebrations.
Morecambe boss Jim Bentley revealed he was unhappy with his side's performance.
He said: "I'm disappointed with the result but really to lose in the manner we did because we didn't manage the game well at all.
"They shot out of the traps and were all over us from the kick-off. We didn't somehow sense that and react to that and kept trying to play football instead of clearing our lines and they made us pay.
"They worked tremendously hard but we played into their hands. Both their goals and the penalty they missed both came from our mistakes and again we haven't got it right at home again which is frustrating.
"Away we have been excellent but we haven't done well enough from home and our decision making has to be much, much better."
