Shaikh Salman Meets With Korea FA President

MANAMA (AFC) - Asian Football Confederation President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khlifa has met with Korea Football Association (KFA) President Chung Mong-gyu, KFA Vice President Kim Dong-dae, in the presence of Bahrain Football Association President Shaikh Ali Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.

Shaikh Salman hailed the important role being played by the KFA in developing football throughout the Korea Republic, as well as the high regard in which South Korean football is held thanks to the country’s continuing success at international level.
The AFC President also outlined the confederation’s future development plans, while underlining the need for continuous cooperation and coordination between the AFC and its Member Associations – a strategy that Shaikh Salman noted is a key tool with which to boost the development of Asian football.
The KFA President expressed his support for Shaikh Salman, and the AFC President’s ability to lead the governing body’s development and growth. He also explained that the KFA is keen to continue its positive interaction with the AFC in order to ensure a brighter future for Asian football at all levels.
