Calgary Police reach out to missing woman’s mother

24-year-old Jessica Rae Newman has been missing since March 10th but Calgary Police have reached out to her mother to assure her that the case is not over.

Investigators wrote Jessica’s mother a letter, which is posted on Facebook about her daughters disappearance and how they want to find out the truth about Jessica.

The Major Crimes Unit took over the case at the end of March and have gathered valuable information on Jessica and her lifestyle.

In the letter police sent a message to the alleged abductors saying, “Jessica’s case is not going away”.

“My best advice to you is to do what is right and contact police” said a spokesperson with Calgary Police.

Police also issued a thank you in the letter to the Newman family and the public for their assistance in the investigation so far.

CPS are still asking the public for any additional information no matter how small or seemingly insignificant it is.

If anyone has any information they are asked to call Calgary Police or Crimestoppers.
