The Ottawa Senators have come from behind before and now they will have to do it again. The Montreal Canadiens beat the Senators 3-2 in overtime to take a 2-0 series lead, as the series shifts to Ottawa for games three and four.

Despite Mark Stone suffering a micro-fracture in his right wrist, the Senators rookie star was back in the line-up tonight. Canadiens leading scorer Max Pacioretty made his debut in the series, returning from an upper body injury.

Late in the first period, Mark Stone sets up Clarke MacArthur for the opening goal giving the Senators a 1-0 lead after one period.

The Canadiens  respond  by scoring 2 goals in the 2nd period.  Pacioretty starts things off beating Andrew Hammond between the legs. With about 4 minutes left in the period, P.K Subban, adds insult to injury after slashing Stone in game one, gives the Canadiens a 2-1 lead after 2 periods. Canadiens outshot the Senators 14-3 in the 2nd period.

With about 7 minutes left in regulation, Senators on the power play, Stone draws his 2nd assist as he sets up Patrick Wiercioch to force the game into overtime.

3 minutes into the extra period, the Canadiens take advantage of a turnover, as Alex Galchenyuk scores the game winner for a 3-2 final in overtime.

The Canadiens take a 2-0 series lead. Game three shifts to Ottawa Sunday.
