TS creates Rs. 100 cr. fund

The State government on Friday created Crucial Balancing Fund (CBF) by releasing Rs. 100 crore to enable district administrations to meet the contingency expenditure for completing important works. An amount of Rs. 10 crore each has been kept at the disposal of every District Collector for 2015-16 to meet the emergency needs from CBF. In the orders issued, Principal Secretary (Planning) B.P. Acharya said that District Collectors were authorised to draw and incur the expenditure as per the guidelines of CBF to be issued separately. The District Collectors were required to maintain separate account for the amount concerned and the details of expenditure should be furnished to the Planning Department.
