Marathi film Court, which has won many awards in various film festivals, was released all over India on April 17.
Chaitanya Tamhane's National Award winning film 'Court' has created history by winning 17 awards in 20 international film fests even before its release. And 55-year-old lead actor Vira Sathidar, who has made a debut with this film, says with a smile: 'I'm thrilled that people love my acting.
It is quite satisfying that my first acting stint got so much of appreciation.'
This is the highest award winning Indian film till date. Right from Vienna fest to Venice festival, from Hong Kong fest to Moscow international festival, from Mexico fest to Mumbai international fest, this film has floored this debut film by Chaitanya Tamhane.
The film produced by Vivek Gomber and Zoo Entertainment Pvt Ltd, also has actors like Gitanjali Kulkarni, Usha Bane and Shirish Powar.
