Investment funds assets edge down to HUF 5.591 trillion in March

Assets in investment funds managed by members of the Association of Hungarian Investment Fund and Asset Management Companies (BAMOSZ) fell by HUF 10.8 bln to HUF 5.591 trillion in March, BAMOSZ said yesterday.

Assets in money market funds fell 1.5% to HUF 1.4 trillion. Assets in bond funds inched down 0.9% to HUF 1.304 trillion. Assets in mixed funds rose 2.6% to HUF 716 bln as the funds drew fresh investments of HUF 16.1 bln.

Share fund assets grew 2.5% to HUF 265 bln as the funds attracted fresh funds of HUF 3.6 bln. Assets in capital-guaranteed funds grew 1.4% to HUF 501 bln as the funds attracted fresh capital of HUF 12.5 bln. Assets in absolute-yield funds fell 1.6% to HUF 685 bln on withdrawals of HUF 12.6 bln. Property fund assets fell 1% to HUF 473 bln on withdrawals of HUF 6 bln.
