AIFF slaps 4-match ban on Khalid Jamil, Reddy

The All India Football Federation has suspended Bengaluru FC assistant coach Pradhyum Reddy and Mumbai FC coach Khalid Jamil for four matches following their ill-tempered I-League match.

BENGALURU: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has suspended Bengaluru FC assistant coach Pradhyum Reddy and Mumbai FC coach Khalid Jamil for four matches following their ill-tempered Hero I-League match at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium last week.
Bengaluru FC and their coach Ashley Westwood were fined Rs 2 lakh each by the AIFF disciplinary committee. Westwood was reprimanded for entering the field to protest the referee's decision and for misconduct on the ground.

The AIFF, in a statement, warned Bengaluru to 'improve the organizational facilities.' Mumbai FC midfielder T Amoes was fined Rs 50,000 and also warned by AIFF.
Fifa refuses to interfere in Churchill-AIFF case
Churchill Brothers approached FIFA to overturn AIIF's decision of axing them from the I-League on grounds of not meeting the stringent club licensing criteria. However, FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke has termed it an 'internal matter' of the Indian body.
